Christmas Dinner Ideas – The List Of 3 Easy Christmas Dinner Recipes

Although 2020 did not work out the way a year usually does I find it important to close out 2020 in an uplifting way in order to start 2021 more focused and happier. One of the things that could really uplift us is having a nice dinner with our family and close friends.  Let’s suppose no one has the coronavirus. Today I would like to share  3 delicious Christmas Dinner Ideas that are featured on the famous food hacker Todd Wilbur’s website. Todd Wilbur’s main purpose is to deconstruct America’s most iconic brand-name recipes for easy use at home. I will also make suggestions that you can follow if you want to avoid weight gain during the holidays.

1) MAGGIANNO’S BEEF TENDERLOIN MEDALLIONS

For many years this meal was the top menu choice in Maggiano’s Italian restaurant. Why not bring this idea to the Christmas table?

Check out the recipe here to see how you can make this delicious meal at home.

The main ingredients are tenderloin steaks, mashed potato, and delicious balsamic cream with sliced mushrooms.

I understand that you are trying to stay healthy so the sweet potato is usually a great replacement for potatoes in this case. However, this meal is just the best with garlic mashed potatoes

So if you really want to avoid weight gain during the holidays I would just probably eat a smaller portion in order to keep track of calories. But I would not change a single thing in this recipe apart from replacing sugar with Xylitol if you need to add any to the sauce.

2) Honey Baked HAM GLAZE

Todd Wilbur could manage to witness the glazing process in the stores through an open door. In order to recreate the glazing process according to this recipe, you should purchase bone in pre-sliced hams. Instead of sugar use Xylitol and then you will tick the healthy box. Apart from sugar, I don’t recommend changing anything with this recipe.

3) HOOTER’S PASTA SALAD

This salad might be a great fit with the Honey Baked Ham Glaze.

The main ingredients are pasta, rotini, cukes, and vinaigrette dressing on the side.

Since this meal includes a ton of veggies it is quite helpful in order to avoid weight gain during the holidays.

However, I might have a few suggestions to stay in great shape during the holidays:

  1. For the dressing – instead of sugar – use Xylitol.
  2. Use wheat-free corn or brown rice pasta or rice noodles instead of the regular pasta.

So this was the summary of the 3 CHRISTMAS DINNER IDEAS that are based on a recipe of delicious world-famous Christmas dinners.
